Earth Image

The earth image is a satellite composite visual light image from NASA.  Clouds have been removed so that player can see the vehicle's location above the earth.  The images are provided by NASA Visable Earth team and the NASA Earth Obersvatory team.  They retain ownership of these earth images.  They can be found at visibleearth.nasa.gov and at earthoversvatory.nasa.gov.  The isage to the left is an example of what the earth would look like if clouds are visable.
